People have different ideas and definitions of the word culture. What I’m interested in for this assignment is, what shapes the Mexican American culture? Describe what you’ve learned and how it impacts culture.
Use all the resources that were provided during this week’s lesson. How does history play into the culture? How has the farmworker strike played into the Mexican American culture? What do dress and clothing mean to culture? What impact did the Zoot Suits have on the culture? What, if any, has racism played in the Mexican American culture? How have movements impacted the Mexican American culture?
