How does Harlow’s experiment relate to what you have learned about attachment? What are your general thoughts about this experiment? In your opinion, was this experiment ethical? Why/why not?
Next, watch the “Strange Situation Experiment” (link to video posted here). Based on this week’s readings as well as your observations from the video, answer What types of experiences lead to avoidant attachment? What type of experiences will lead to resistant attachment?
