This case study review will be composed of three main sections [a basic analysis report guideline has been provided at the end of the assignment]:
A thorough synopsis/review
• Can you give a brief description of the company?
• Was there a major disruption or disrupter? How has this affected business?
• What have you been most impressed with? Here’s another chance for the client to gush.
•
II. Questions [Pick 5 – 6 of the following questions to research beyond the Case Study Video about the company and have these answers help you formulate a revised marketing plan for the company].
• How do customers first hear about the product/service? If the client learned about you via other case studies or articles in outside publications or websites—or simply knew about you by reputation alone—you definitely want to include that in the case study. For the reader, this info strengthens your industry presence and thought leadership. This question is also a good lead-in to learn about how the deal between the client and your company was finalized.
• What trends in the industry drove the need to use this product/service?
• What feature of the product/service was most appealing?
What was the initial reaction to the product/service? In other words, how did the client’s users and customers accept this service/product?
• How has this company developed? Dig into the success of the service/product. This is important because it provides the basis of the case study: “X Company began in 20XX with #guests/participants and Achieved X Hundred Percent Growth within the 1st 5 years.”
Can you share any metrics/KPIs that show the company’s success or downfall? The more hard numbers and data are the better.
Suggested Solutions
• What makes this solution stand out over others that were researched? Ideally, you want the interviewee to say how great your product is. This and other questions lead him or her to be your greatest advocate.
• How did you implement/introduce our solution? The rollout, and the steps taken to get to that point, can make or break the success of the solution. Ideally, the client will say how the process was seamless and that your product and team were the reasons for such ease.
• How will this solution saved money and/or increased productivity?
