In this paper you will discuss various element of a pre-approved cultural study.
This paper is going to focus on ARMENIA.

– Begin with an introduction with a thesis statement
– Provide a brief history of your culture- kingdom of Cilica, the Armenian Genocide, the first nation to adopt Christianity, Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat
– Explain how your chosen culture is represented in the US
– Detail some of the sex and gender role differences in your culture- Armenia is a generally conservative and “old school” culture. Gender roles are important; men are head of household; women are wives and mothers, although times have progressed and now women are become more independent and less women are homemakers.
– Explain some of the values in the culture. Provide at least 3 examples- extremely family oriented, the Christian faith, hospitality
– Discuss your cultures religions. Include name and basic belied system of a least one of the major faiths- first christian nation, Armenian Apostolic is the religion
– Detail some of the sex and gender role differences in your culture (provide at least 3 examples)- conservative beliefs, men are breadwinners, women are homemakers
– Discuss what we would need to know the acculturate into your culture. If a past one, what would we need to do for preparing for our time machine to fit in. Provide at least one concrete suggestion- conservative views, very family oriented, very prideful with our rich history, be prepared to eat a lot of food if you visit an Armenian household
