Briefly describe ‘the history of the internet’ and what you would do to “remake” the internet.

Introduction to the study of the effects of the Internet and cyberspace on the psychology of individuals and groups. Some topics covered include online identity, online relationships, personality types in cyberspace, transference to computers, addiction to computers and the Internet, regressive behavior in cyberspace, and online gender-switching.

In a 700-1000 worded essay, briefly describe ‘the history of the internet’ and what you would do to “remake” the internet. What are things you want to see more of moving forward, less of, and what would you change and how? Reference specific authors, articles, and ideas. When using references from any source, put the author, reference, quote, and/or article in bold. Please see the rubric on the syllabus on how essays are graded. Include a Works Cited list and a word count at the end of your initial post. DO NOT attach a Word or PDF file.
