1. On an issue you are passionate about, find two (extended) written statements. Examples: speeches, articles, letters, etc…One statement will be one you approve of and the other will be one you oppose.
2. Analyze both statements for Tone, Purpose, Audience, Connotative Words or phrases (find two examples), and context. Your analysis must include information found in the PowerPoint and videos.
3. Write a summary paper that addresses TPACC and discuss effectiveness of argument for both positions.
