Read J. K. Rowling. Harry Potter and
the Sorcerer’s Stone. For the purposes of this assignment, we will be
discussing Rowlings novel only. We will not be discussing the film, do not end
up discussing details in the film that are different from or absent from
details in the novel.

In J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,
it is clear that Harry has some natural skills and qualities as well as some
learned ones honed by his childhood experience. It’s also clear that the
character of Harry Potter has both positive qualities and character flaws. Discuss
three character traits for Harry Potter. Make sure that you present at
least one positive trait and at least one negative trait. Discuss
each of the three traits in a separate paragraph. Within each paragraph present
each trait and provide an example or quote from the text to illustrate. Tell
why you think the example or quote is important. Then provide your opinion
on how you believe that trait will have an impact on plot and character development.
