Kinesiology Organizing a “Practice”

Pick a discrete, gross motor skill like catching a ball (but now you can’t use this one). A “discrete” skill, or task, is one with obvious starting and finishing points. Describe how you would teach a young person, or novice learner, to perform this skill, including:
Describe your practice plan, organized using motor learning theory
drills by type
progression criteria
delayed feedback, and when you would use each type
Provide your rationale for your plan. Use motor learning terms and theory. NOTE: I’m not very concerned with the mechanics of the task, or “what” you are teaching – I want to see you know HOW to teach motor skills.
