Think of a group that you joined by choice and a time that your group had to work together to achieve a goal. Discuss the experience of working in a group. What was the goal you wanted to achieve? Was being in a group advantageous? What kind of problems did you/your group face?

For each journal you submit, you will need to:
(1) describe your personal experience of completing the assigned journal
(2) discuss how the experience connects to concepts we have covered in class

When discussing course concepts, pretend the reader has never taken a social psychology course. Use vocabulary terms and provide their definitions. Be thorough in your explanation of why/how your experience relates to the concept. You will be evaluated on your understanding of the concept. Make it clear that you understand its meaning – do not just repeat a definition.

Journals should be one to two pages double-spaced, written in a reasonable font (size 10-12 pt). If you use programs such as Google Docs or Office 365, you must download your journal and save it as a word document or .pdf before uploading it for grading.

These journals are designed to be short papers. Choose your words carefully. Practice being clear and concise.
