The other week I had to choose a research question. Here is my reasearch question: Is leadership in the field based on experience and/or rank or by qualifications?
mu professor has replied to me and said: You need to focus in… I don’t know what problem you are seeking to solve. What field are you talking about? You have a decent conceptual framework, you just need to determine what exactly you are measuring, and how you plan to measure it. Be sure to consider where you plan to get your data from. Whether quantitative (numbers, hard data, etc.) or qualitative (published literature, interviews, focus groups, etc.) you will need to conduct a study based on data. Keep your question focused on a particular subject group. If your question is too broad you wont be able to answer it well.
Could you take what he has said and make a revised reaserch question and then go off of that to do the assigment?
