The major case study (in a report format) will draw on the core concepts, frameworks and analytical techniques of the unit to demonstrate your understanding of Strategy, Structure, Process, People, Performance and the collective synthesis of these in analysing enterprise performance.

This assessment will require you to adopt the practical perspectives of Organisational Analysis and use the tools, models and concepts discussed in this course in understand the assignment tasks listed below.

Before commencing the assessment think about the organisations organisation including size, financial performance, history, mission statement, strategic plan and company product/services profile.

Structure: The completed assignment will include the following Please note: Your major case study analysis should address the following:

1. How do you think your chosen organisation aligns its culture to its strategy and structure? Apply tools and models in your answer. For example, organisational culture (adaptability, achievement, and clan or bureaucratic) Strategy: Porters generic strategies, Porters 5 Forces and Structure: mechanistic v organic. (Approx. 500 words)
Do you believe the organisation is socially responsible? Consider course content and concepts of
Corporate Social Responsibility. Incorporate why you reach these conclusions including organizational
material that addresses ethical and socially responsible practices. (Approx. 500 words)

3. Offer recommendations for change/s to the existing organisational culture and improved corporate social
responsible practices you think appropriate to improve performance locally and in an international context. (Approx. 300 words)

Present your report in a 1500 word business report format and include graphs, charts, visuals and organisation structure charts. You will also include a brief introduction and conclusion (200 words in total) within the 1500 word count. (Executive summary, graphs, charts visuals and organisation structure are not included in the word count).
