You are running for President of the United States. How many essay questions begin by putting that much pressure on you? Don’t worry, the question gets better. Citing the general mindset and current events, what are your policy proposals? What are the biggest issues in this election and how will the nation handle them in your administration? Most importantly, who else is running for president (on a major party’s ticket) and how will you do a better job than each (major party) candidate? You may agree with a candidate on any of the issues, but you should make yourself stand out. Perhaps you don’t think they’ll really accomplish everything they have promised? How will you do a better job? Base your answer on what you think is important to American voters during the election in which you are running. Happy campaigning!
