sometimes thinking about something you are interested in within the field of Kinesiology and explore the literature to find primary sources (a paper where the authors conducted the research and reported the results themselves…different than a review paper that collects and summarizes multiple papers) that relate to your topic. For each paper, you are to summarize (in your own words…DO NOT copy and paste) the following elements (based upon the Examine.com activity…this section can be bullet points and single-spaced):
What was the main hypothesis? (What were the research questions?)
Summarize the study design (methods)
Design, method, population, sample size, treatments, measures, analysis
Summarize the results
What are your conclusions about the study?
Quality, results, limitations
APA citation for each paper
Section 2.
You are to write a short (2-3 pages) thematic review of literature that outlines your topic and identifies 2-3 themes based upon the review of your articles from section
