Using Chapter 4 of Textbook: Financial Accounting, 5th Ed., J. David Spiceland, Wayne Thomas and Don Herrmann. McGraw-Hill Education, 2019. ISBN: 978125991489 as a launching off point, research other examples of fraud and be prepared to present a
comprehensive overview of the case.
Written Assignment:
§ Abstract = First Page to include your name, course, date and abstract description of the case.
§ Content = 3 Pages Double-spaced, including Introduction, Background of Case, Timeline of Events,
Outcome, Recommendations to Prevent/Detect/Deter Fraud in the Future.
§ Bibliography = Last Page to include at least three (3) unique sources; Note: Wikipedia is not acceptable.
It is imperative that your paper include all of the above components, and site your sources in MLA format.
Do not select a case highlighted in the textbook – you should use your research skills (hint: see the
accounting websites below) to find another example. If you are struggling, reach out for assistance.
