‘Throughout this course you will writing summaries of your readings and discussions. Then you will reflect on the new content, responding to specific questions. This will help you apply and incorporate what you have just learned into your own understanding and practice of the field.
In this first module, you learned about the history and definitions of the field of instructional design and technology (IDT). You will summarize what you have read and reflect on what you have learned in this module.

Summarize the most significant learning points you learned during the module based on the readings, discussions, and any additional resources suggested or found.
Reflect on how what you learned and thought about during the module applies to your professional development and work. Incorporate responses to the following questions into your paper:
How has you perceptions of the field changed after exploring this module?
How will the information in this module affect how you approach understanding the field of instructional design and technology (IDT)?
What more would you like to learn about in regards to the information covered in this module?
2. Your summary and reflection paper should be double-spaced and about one-to-two pages in length. There should be one-inch margins at the top, bottom, left, and right. Text should be in 12-point serif font (such as Times Roman). Include your name in the top right corner of each page. Use proper academic English. Use APA style formatting for any citations and references you provide. The Purdue OWL APA Guidelines or the APA Publications Manual will help you create the citations in the text and the corresponding references.
