Write an applied exegetical paper making use of any one of the texture analyses of socio-rhetorical criticism applied to a text of your choice.

Write an applied
exegetical paper on only one of the socio-rhetorical criticism textures and
apply it to
only one leadership theory (all of its variables) or practice.
This project should
be 4,000-6,000 words for the body (not including cover page, abstract,
bibliography,
and other elements). Consult both the Henson et al. text (for the
correct methodology) and the deSilva
and/or Duvall/Hays texts (for background
and contextual information on your choice of text). Use the
scripture analysis
to critique, refine, or enhance a contemporary theory/practice.
For example:
Compare the exegetical
analysis from one of the socio-rhetorical criticism textures and the chosen
leadership theory (including all of its variables) or practice to determine how
the leadership
theory/practice can be enhanced, critiqued, or refined.
Enhancement: If exegesis has ABC and
theory/practice has AB, then C is added.
Critique: If exegesis has AB and
theory/practice has ABC, then C is removed.
Refinement: If exegesis has ABC1 theory/practice
has ABC2, then C is refined by giving a unique
insight to C.
Academic sources should
be utilized to support the paper to expand both the scripture material and your
leadership theory/practice. It is not unusual to have 3+ pages of resources for
a paper of this length.
The paper should be
written in APA professional title page format with abstract and keywords.

I only have physical copies of the books. I can photocopy the methodologies for the socio-rhetorical
criticisms for the Henson et al. text, but the DeSilva and/or Duvall/Hays texts will be more difficult. I don’t mind assisting with the photocopying or summaries as well. I have access to a summary of various leadership theories/practices available too.
