Pick a country music video that no older than 2015. Watch the music video without the lyrics and write about what you think is going on based off of the visual aspect. No lyrics at all. Ive recently chosen songs about heartbreak, life altering situations or mental health.
Submit a complete, formal outline for Paper 2. This will include your thesis statement, topic sentences, and support (quotes, examples, etc.) from your source texts. You should build off of your submission for Assignment 2A, focusing this time on adding support from your outside sources and amplifying each of your analysis sections.
Please see the sample outline in this week’s module for a better idea of what yours should look like. Note that all information should be written in complete sentences and your word count should be at least 50% of the required word count for the final paper (1000+ words).
Likewise, note that a good grade on the outline does not ensure the same grade on the finished paper. By their nature, outlines should be rough and imperfect. I do not expect perfectly discussed content, but I DO expect and reward a good first try. It is expected that you change, perfect, and flesh out your outline before submitting the final version of your paper to Canvas. The rubric for your outline does not focus on content, but instead on the mechanics of creating and organizing a paper.
