Patient and family-centered care is an innovative approach to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health care that is grounded in mutually beneficial partnerships among health care patients, families, and providers. The purpose of this assignment is to write a scholarly paper that expresses the student’s understanding of the philosophy of Family-Centered Care and its application to nursing.
