Please respond in short essay format to the following questions:
1. Drawing on Motivation Theory, how does Nancy Jankowski address the tentions at
Santorini Hospital? Why were her changes effective in moving the organization

Scientific Management School of thought? Drawing from the lecture on teams and
team effectiveness, how can Nancy Jankowski ensure that the implementation of the
model will be successful? Support you answer with theory and examples from the

3. Discuss the various types of communication networks and describe the advantages and
disadvantages of each. With regards to Charlie Jones (The Day After), what type of
communication network would have enhanced his power base? Be explicit in your
