You are developing a training document to be used by the staff of the Revenue Management & Integrity Department at Spinning Stone Hospital. In your role, you are responsible for creating the billing and collections curricula and for educating the staff. You are currently in the process of developing a training document to ensure the staff correctly use policies to manage patient billing, claims, and collections. Your training document should identify the policies that should be adhered to at specific steps of the revenue cycle. In addition, your training document should include an explanation of how the policies guide processes the staff and hospital must follow to ensure appropriate patient billing, claims, and collections management. Your educational materials should also emphasize the importance of compliance with the guidelines presented, as well as the risks to stakeholders if the staff are not compliant.
