Discuss the relationship between outbound and inbound marketing efforts as part of an organization’s holistic marketing strategy.

Part A: Open-ended response to this week’s theme:
Discuss the relationship between
outbound and inbound marketing efforts as part of an organization’s
holistic marketing strategy. How have recent global shutdowns as a
result of the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated efforts from outbound to
inbound marketing within your organization?
Part B: Discuss intersection of this week’s reading and media:
H & B asserts that “Being found
naturally, without assistance from paid advertising, is one of the most
difficult problems for marketers to stay on top of. Doing so is part
art, and part science.” (pg. 67). Utilizing at least two text/video
resources from this week’s assignments, detail a few of the challenges
that today’s companies face in driving traffic to their organizational
websites, and provide what you feel are a few technical/content-based
solutions to overcome these challenges.
Part C: Respond to this week’s ethics case:
As demonstrated in Gringarten, Ch. 1,
effective marketing content not only provides the customer with
information about a product or service, but marketing content also has
the ability to tell the customer what you want them to do. Discuss where
you think the boundaries are for legitimate and illegitimate use and/or
manipulation of consumers’ impulses, weaknesses, and cognitive biases.
What moral and ethical responsibility do organizations have when
targeting various demographics, specifically marginalized populations?
