Develop a Dietary Plan
Explain in detail and include scientific evidence to your comments including in-text citation and add to
final reference page (reference your plan with a research project(s) that have been found successful and
can potentially benefit Michael).
• Explain the short term and long-term goals of your dietary plan for Michael’s condition
• Explain how carbohydrate intake can affect Michael’s condition (including fiber)

• Based on his Daily Caloric limit of 2400 kcals. Use the Sample Meal Table below and click on link
beside each food group, this will take you to the ChooseMyPlate page for each food group. Use the table
for ounce or cup equivalents panel from each food group to plan a diet for Michael. Make sure to plan
the proper quantity (cup or oz.) for each meal time for a total of:
Grains (8 oz.); Vegetables (3 cups); Fruits (2 cups); Dairy (3 cups); Protein (6.5 oz.)
Part 3: Develop a Physical Activity Plan (200 points)

• Explain the significance of vitamin intake and supplements for Michael’s condition
• Explain the significance of minerals intake and supplements for Michael’s condition

• Plan for Michael at least 150 minutes/week of activities
