Is the experience of being an adolescent the same for males
and females? Is it the same across different historical times or eras? What
about across different cultures or subpopulations within a culture? This
assignment involves exploring similarities and differences in one of these
areas. Using the University Library, search for articles that address gender,
historical, cultural, or sub-cultural differences in adolescence.

You will choose one of the areas listed. You do not have
to make comparisons for all three areas. However, you must make the
comparisons clear. Your textbook is the one references you must include, but
you are also required to have at least 4 peer-reviewed articles. Remember that
this means articles from professional journals.
