1) This week’s online articles included interesting elements of digital composition and digital rhetoric (e.g., hyperlinks to other sources; embedded videos, reader comments sections, images, social media links, etc.). This raises the issue of the role of technology in public communication. This digital revolution has its plus sides (e.g., access to greater amounts of information, sharing in networks, political possibilities). It also has its downsides (e.g., lack of accessibility if you are without technology, the propagation of fake news, corporate control of media, political manipulation). What are your thoughts and/or insights into this new era of public communication? What are the implications of a digital public?
