Integrative Literature Review Outline and Annotated Bibliography

Doctoral or PHD skilled writers please. This assignment will help you frame your
ability to complete a QI project focusing on an identified PICOT question. The outline
is an opportunity to use an annotated bibliography in a meaningful way to shape
your review.

initiation

Article 1- Beake, S., Pellowe, C., Schmied, V., & Bick, D. (2012). A
methodical review of structured compared with non-structured breastfeeding
programmes to support the initiation and duration of exclusive and any
breastfeeding in acute and primary health care. Maternal and Child Nutrition(8),
141-161. doi:DOI: 10.1111/j.1740-8709.2011.00381.x
This article compared the evidence
of outcomes of qualitative and quantitative studies in which associated
regulated as opposed to non-controlled breastfeeding curriculums in an acute
maternity location on the duration of initiation of breastfeeding exclusively.
Evaluation was achieved by the means of the Joanna Briggs Institute
Comprehensive Review Management System, in addition to the proper critical
assessment tools was applied for individually. Due to the dissimilarities in
designs of the study, individual and studies conclusions couldn’t be
incooperated for meta-analyses. In general, the studies established that the
regulated program ensured a substantial influence on duration and initiation of
breastfeeding, this specifies that application of these curriculums by the
nurses are necessary.

Article 2- Jaafar, S., Lee, K., & Ho, J. (2013). Separate Care
for New Mother & Newborns versus Rooming-in for Increasing the Duration of Breastfeeding. Cochrane Database System Review,
50-51. This
study deliberated randomized measured trials to determine length of exclusive
breastfeeding from rooming-in or separation. Information was retrieved from 23
reports of 19 unsystematic measured trials concluded thru meta-analysis.
Information was evaluated for bias checks, accuracy, and inconsistencies. The
information established that there were no substantial dissimilarity amongst
the two groups in breastfeeding rates at time span four months, though there
was a increased rate of breastfeeding exclusively on discharge in the
rooming-in individuals.
Article 3- Taylor,
E., Nickel, N., & Labbok, M. (2012). Implementing the ten steps for
successful breastfeeding in hospitals
serving low-wealth patients. American Journal of Public Health, 102(12), 2262-2268.
The Ten
Steps for Successful Breastfeeding as well as their association on in hospital
the rate of breast-feeding was measured thru qualitative, evocative as well as
non-parametric compared findings. Effects displayed that few of the stages,
which involved rooming-in, revealed a alteration in breastfeeding rates. The
staffs were questioned to evaluate their institution’s existing performances of
the Ten Steps, in addition to consecutively 300 charts were studied for
breastfeeding. A limitation that were noted were whether surveying a
institution is a true evocative of the inhabitants in the state or country.
Conclusive results revealed rooming-in with a newborn showed an surge in rate
of breastfeeding. This demonstrates the
impact on nurses’ employing the Ten Steps of breast-feeding newborns.
