Section 2: Learned Outcomes
In detail, describe 3-4 “outcomes” in relation to your major field of study, general education learning, and/or plans for the future based on your experiences within and beyond the classroom. Include how your any employment, volunteer experiences or internships have influenced what you believe to be important and how that relates back to what you studied in your classes. These outcomes are a description of how your experiences helped you to understand the “real” world.
Each outcome should be detailed- a minimum of a paragraph for each. You are encourage to use visuals to make your points and the key is to make that connection between your academics and experiences.
Section 3: Leadership
Describe how you have applied (or plan to apply) what you have learned through your life experiences thus far in terms of leadership. Clearly refer to learning described in your learned outcomes. How did that learning impact your decisions in terms of leadership action/solutions during your experience?
Section 4: Skills
Describe in detail 3- a minimum of a paragraph for each, 3 “soft” skills and 3 “hard” skills you have taken away from your experiences. How have these strengthened your learned outcomes and how has this impacted your experience? Here you want to “sell” these as your best skills as you relate them back to your future goals and objectives.
Sections 5: 5 and 10 year Plan- How will you get there?
What are your goals for the next 5 years- how will you get there? And the next 5 after that.
Present a 10 year plan with the steps you will set as your goals.
A minimum of a 2-3 sentences for each.
