CHOOSING A TOPIC. Students are to write an analysis of a corporate and/or government scandal that occurred after 2000, explaining events, conspirators and other stakeholders, impact on victims, consequences for perpetrators, and preventing such events in the future.

Write a brief proposal for your topic:
PART ONE (at least 300 words)
Read the final essay assignment carefully, including the rubric. Concisely describe your chosen financial scandal, identify the financial conspirators and their consequences, and speak to whether it could happen again. Who are the stakeholders (people impacted by or otherwise involved in the scandal)?
Also, identify at least three reliable financial research sources you have discovered in your preliminary research.
