Write an argumentative essay and based on the reading/screening content that you were assigned for the class. (You have written your proposal (on a self-selected research topic) successfully, which is the most important step for any student writing a research paper. So, you are ready to get writing!
Structure your essay in the most effective way to communicate your ideas and answer the question. All essays should include the following structure. Introduction -Body – Conclusion ( See ‘Essay Structure’ in the course materials folder)
Like many professors, I also expect students to use scholarly sources when writing a college-level research paper. To support your claims and point you should refer scholarly sources on your subject that agrees with you. If you exploit their words as a way to support, your point will be very powerful. Check again please our Writing Criteria on MyCourse, you will see that you`re required to use at least 4 scholarly sources in your essay. (at least one of them should be class reading)
Don`t forget all written assignments must be submmitted according to the formatting guidelines of the Modern Language Association (MLA). Please visit Online Writing Lab (OWL) for helpful MLA and writing guidelines: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/563/1/)
Pay attention to the proper citation of sources in-text and in a Works Cited or reference page in an agreed upon style. The screening material should be cited too, for example Netflix, Hulu, Google Play: Generally, when citing a specific episode, follow the format below.
