Comprehensive summary and a reaction

My objective for picking a summary as a final paper is two-fold. One being I encourage you to pick a chapter you are intensely interested in and two, by writing a summary of your favorite chapter, you strengthen and reinforce the information previously learned.
There are two separate parts to this final assignment:
1. Pick ANY chapter covered in this semester’s Psy102 class (Ch. 9 – 15 & Appendix B) and write a comprehensive summary, generally 4 – 6 pages.
Structure your long summary essay to ensure you cover the main topics without writing about those of less importance.
You may omit summarizing the Prologues or Closing Thoughts.
Summaries will need to be detailed and comprehensive to cover the main concepts/topics presented in the chapter, yet SUCCINCT in nature. Keep in mind, a summary does not include EVERY detail of the chapter. REMEMBER to include correct citing of textbook, especially if you include a direct quote.
2. Next, in an >ADDITIONAL< 1 - 3 PAGE paper include your individual reaction to ONE of your chapter's topics found throughout the chapter, often surrounded by a boxed line, titled: Culture & Human Behavior, Focus on Neuroscience, In Focus, Critical Thinking topics, or Psych for your Life. Your individual reactions to the textbook's chapters are your reviews, reactions, and personal connections to the topic you choose.
