This is for a case study / academic analyis about Digital Transformation in a large corporate organization. Specifically about why the transformation is needed, what organizational model and methodoologies will be used and how a modern transformation with a customer-first mindset can look like.
This essay is about digital transformation, how we all have higher expectations to companies (i..e we compare everything to Apple/Google/Amazon today), As consumers / customers, we expect 24/7 self-service, anytime anywhere and same day delivery.. Organizations need to adapt or die. Organizations need to become truly agile to react quickly to changing customer behavior, etc.

– Lean Startup – idea > build > measure > learn loop.
– The innovators Dilemma
– Kaizen – Continuous improvement
– building Capabilities, not just projects the benefit of that is teams will build skills and can continuously Improve
– 360 degree omnichannel customer experience, for customer service, use of products, purchase, etc. any channel, any time
– Big Data – companies need to know their customers.
– The human touch: While digital is prevailing these days, and while customer behavior has evolved, the human touch is still very important, that is what can make the difference.
– BUILD framework (Bridge, Uncover, Implement, Leverage, Disseminate) from one of the references
– Vision and purpose of a company, objectives and goals aligned. Empower people. Try small projects at first.
I have drafted my thoughts in bullet points and have provided a list of references. My notes in the document are in RED font and used as guidance.
