Your work will continue to centralize around the general topic of narrative, storytelling and authorship. While the artistic differences may seem overwhelming you will be challenged to find similarities in use of narrative, time, and place. Some works may seem void of these things but it will be your job to find the artists that use those concepts. The use of those concepts may be linear or nonlinear, obvious or hidden. In addition to finding the concepts of narrative, time, and place I want you to think about “over arching time”. How has the role of art changed since the Renaissance? What has remained the same? CONSIDER AND RECONSIDER EVERYTHING.
