Connecting with Images, Formal Analysis and Symbols in Art Assignments will need to be carried out at three different museum web sites. Please consult the Appendix A and B of the Understanding Art Museums for suggestions.
For this paper, I would like you to view art works in a gallery or museum website. (4 page minimum)
Choose several works of art that have a personal meaning for you. In your paper briefly describe the works and discuss your connection to the images. What attracted you to them? What do they evoke in you? What meaning does the subject matter have to your personal life? Why do you think so many people are attracted to these works?
Important! Please note: I do not want you to use any outside sources for the Connecting with Images paper. It is an observation paper, so no bibliography is needed. At a minimum, this paper is required to be double spaced, 4 full pages (more pages are fine), also, please include a link to the web site you consulted. To turn in the papers, attach them in the same way as your other assignments.
