I would like a report on the state of the American pro wrestling industry….written by someone familiar with the industry. Please give a background of the business from the carnival to the territory days to the rise of WWF, the Monday night wars, and the current product. Why is thecurrent product in decline? Why are there not as many people watching wrestling? What impact has AEW had on the industry? Who are the current big players in the industry? Is there room for another national brand? I want the conclusion to be that indeed there is and that it should be much like the “attitude” era…mature and edgy.
