Self Reflection:
Students must write a reflection at the end of the semester. Content for the reflection is as follows and students can address these questions in any order:
1) Based on what you have learned from this class, has your ethical perspective changed?
2) Has your ethical decision making process changed from the beginning of the semester?
3) Have you experienced an ethical dilemma, either personally or professionally? Give an example, and include in your paper how you handled the situation. After having this class, would you have changed how you handled the situation?
4) What moral theory do you feel you most follow?
5) What is your understanding of your ethical beliefs today? What about those of your classmates?
6) How will you utilize ethical decision making as a health care professional, while
understanding the following your professional code of ethics?
The self-reflection should be at least two pages. It needs to contain an introduction, body and conclusion. Do not simply answer the questions!! The questions are a guide to get you thinking! Use proper writing style! Radiology students must use AMA, others can use APA. Submit to area in eLearn. This paper will be graded with the assignment rubric
This course is a multidisciplinary bioethics course designed to teach ethical problem-solving to future health care professionals. Current policy issues are posed as ethical dilemmas for discussion and review
