Topic Proposal ( High risk pregnacy within the afican american community in the united state )
This paper involves research on an instructor approved topic. Choose a current controversial issue that relates to your career choice and analyze varying proposed policies for solving it. For example, an accounting major may do a research paper on “going green” through tax incentives or business practices. (Topics to avoid are legalization of marijuana, abortion, global warming, steroids, and human cloning)
Presenting a well-developed topic proposal requires that you do preliminary research to focus your ideas. I must give final approval on your topic; therefore, you must write a topic proposal for my review. In a ½ to 2/3 page paragraph, provide as much detail as possible.
Describe the topic of your research paper.
List the aspects of the topic that you plan to develop and explain the modes of development, such as definition, cause/effect, comparison/contrast, classification, and/or policy that you plan to use to develop those aspects.
Describe, in as much detail as possible, at least two sources that you have found already. Who wrote them? What authority do they have, if any, on the issue? Where and when were they published? Are they periodicals, books, or references?
