Students are required to fully analyze a current event from marketing in the hospitality industry. My suggestion would be to utilize www.hotel-online.com; www.winebusiness.com or another hospitality related daily news provider to stay up on current events.
This will take about 1-3 pages to fully analyze (probably about 2) and you are required to do a SWOT analysis and identify the 4Ps or 4Cs of marketing for the current event that you have retrieved- it must be recent, relevant and cited. Also include a link to the article at the end of the paper.
Submit it in Word or PDF through the assignment link only (not email) by the due date- remember, late work is not accepted.
To do this, you may need to read up on SWOT, 4Ps and 4Cs of marketing and- do some reading up on what Target Marketing is. This way, you can relate it back to the current event and identify what they are doing, how they are doing it and whether it is a good idea or not for their specific target market.
