ALL PAPER MUST HAVE CITATIONS AND REFERENCE PAGE! NO WIKIPEDIA CITATIONS.
It will include:
An explanation of when and how your hero originated historic background.
Does he or she stem from ancient myth or folklore?
What are their powers and who are their foes.
Compare and contrast their personality to their alter ego persona. (Clark Kent vs Superman).
What is their weakness that can destroy them?
What values or morals do they support?
Conclude with who is your real life hero and why.

I chose to write about The Punisher, I’ll include below what I wrote for a previous assignment

“The Punisher (aka Frank Castle) was a Sicilian born in Queens, New York. He was set on a path of Priesthood, but when he witnessed the amount of evil in the world, he left the seminary and with the mindset that there can be no forgiveness without punishment. Castle then joined the marines, then the navy seals where he earned numerous awards for his sacrifice and dedication to his country over his four tours. He then settled down with his wife Maria and had two children. The only thing that mattered to him at this point was his family. Frank and the rest of his family accidentally interrupted a mafia deal and they were all shot down to leave no witnesses. Frank was the only survivor, and from that point onward he vowed to take down all that was involved in his family’s murder along with anyone else that evades the law and justice.
Some of the punisher’s foes include Sergeant Mikuta, Sergeant Cleve Gorman, and the Monkey. But Frank Castle’s main foe was the Costa Crime family who was responsible for the death of his family. Billy Russo in particular was one of Frank’s long time foes.
Ultimately, The Punisher is a representative of the law and justice system failing to protect and help those who were abandoned by the legal system.
