The brochure should include the following:
Name of the test
Developers of the testing instrument
Publisher and date published
Purpose of the test
Description of the test
Type of test, e.g., standardized, formal, diagnostic, criteria-referenced, content-referenced, norm-referenced
Type of administration, e.g., group, individual
Administration time
Who administers the test
Appropriate age or grade levels
Subtest information: list the various subtests and content addressed
Scoring information: raw scores, percentiles, grade equivalent, age equivalent etc.
Reliability of the test—the degree to which the test or measuring instrument produces the same results time and time again. How is this addressed?
Validity of the test—the degree to which the test assesses accurately what it means to measure. How does this test show that it is measuring what it intends to measure?
