1.Project report(more than 3 pages but less than 10 pages)Your project reportbasically expands the content of project idea presentation. It should include at least the following fiveparts: project objective(what problem you want to solve, for whom and why this problem matters),descriptionsof the data(e.g. where to look for the data, explanation of your interested data attributes, thedata sizeand structure, basic statistics ofthe data), the main analyses(you can create a process graph to show the main steps of your analyses. You should alsohighlight the difficulties/challenges you met and how you tried to resolve them), the result(What you find/achieve from this project. It would be nice if your findings can be related to some business decisions), and conclusions(Summarize the problem andhow your analyseshelp you to better understand/solvethe problem. List if any potential problems as future work).If you have important intermediate results that you want to show in the report(e.g. some screenshots), you can also include them in the Appendix.Theywill not be counted towardthe page limit.
2.Program: Jupyter notebookPresent your program logic step by step in your Jupyternotebook pages. When we grade your project, we will simply click “Restart & Run All” and your program should run on other computers. (You should have a variable allow us to set the location of chrome.exe) Note you need to provide your program with comments to make sure others can understand the logic of your program by reading the comments.Note: Programs failing to run will result in a lower mark. You should test yourprograms before submission.
3.Data.Save all downloaded data in csv/html files.Though nota hard rule, it is recommended the data that you use for analyses has more than 1000 data points (e.g. 5 columns*200 rows will be considered as 1000 data points).
In finishing the task, you have to apply the following techniques: webpage scrapping, data manipulation with Numpy/pandas or related libraries,and visualization(at least three graphs).
