Please be sure to include the title, author, type of book (e.g. fiction/non-fiction) and any other relevant description (e.g. biography/autobiography). You might also include relevant information about the author, and/or why you chose this particular book.
Discuss your general impression of the book. What two or three points do you consider most/least important or interesting?
Evaluate the accuracy of the information presented. Explain how it compares to information presented in class or in the text. Were there any questions that you think still need to be answered?
Explain why you would or would not recommend this book to someone trying to understand the topic presented.
The completed book review should be approximately 3 – 6 pages of text in length. In addition, you must have a cover page and a reference page.
Papers must be typewritten (12 font, Times New Roman, double-spaced).

You should use formal writing on the assignments. This means that you should use complete sentences, try not to write as you talk, avoid spelling errors, etc. Proofread before submitting. You may lose points on assignments for poor writing.
Make sure that you avoid plagiarism.
Direct quotes are not permitted.
If you use additional sources such as other texts or webpages, please reference those as well. You may lose points on assignments, receive a 0 for the assignment, or receive an F for the class for plagiarizing and not properly referencing sources depending on the severity of the offense.
Please use APA format for all in-text citations and references.
NOTE: Both the reviewed book and the text must be included in the reference list. Additional research is not required; however, if you choose to use additional resources, they must be properly cited and included in the reference list
