M7 Discussion – The Special Senses – week 13
Approximately 40,000 people a year receive an organ transplant in the United States. Organs transplanted include hearts, lungs, and livers. Why can’t we transplant eyes or cochlea? What would be some of the technical difficulties that prevent these types of transplants?
