Risk Assessment to Prevent Mass Violence

Risk Assessment to Prevent Mass Violence
Assignment
For this assignment, review frameworks in texts and elsewhere that explain mass trauma events.
Apply a theoretical/conceptual framework to a particular type of disaster event or a perspective/theory to a particular type of mass violence event.
Based on the premises that your theoretical framework or perspective explain regarding the type of disaster or mass violence event selected, please describe the level of social work practice you recommend for assisting the vulnerable population you selected before, during, and/or after the disaster or mass violence event.
Consider how you might appraise or evaluate the effectiveness of the social work plan in your model.
Requirements

The length of the exercise is to be no greater than 3 pages excluding title page and reference pages.
APA format is required with both a title page and reference page but no abstract. Use the required components of the review as Level 1 headings (upper and lower case, centered, boldface):

Note: Introduction – Write an introduction but do not use “Introduction” as a heading in accordance with the rules put forth in the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (2010, p. 63). Also remember that the APA manual provides students with much information related to the general rules for writing in a grammatically correct way.
Use at least 3 references from the required readings and 3 references from another peer reviewed journal article published between 2014 and 2019. The best journal sources for this course are Journal of Human Rights and International Social Work, though depending on the topic, you might find resources in other journals.
