Locate a real-life narcotics investigation and a gang investigation.
Essay 1: Report on your narcotics investigation. Include the agencies involved, resources and importance of dissemination of intelligence between agencies of all levels.
Essay 2: Report on your gang investigation. Include the agencies involved, resources and importance of dissemination of intelligence between agencies of all levels.
Essay 3: Discuss the purpose of an Internal Affairs unit in a police agency. How do they make a police person accountable to the department and the community? Do you feel civilian oversight would add to keeping police accountable? If you can share and describe a real case, that would be an excellent addition.
The body of your paper should be at least four-six full pages in length, not including the title and reference pages. A format including an introduction, the body of work, and a conclusion will best assure you cover the main components of the assignment. Integration of research strengthens your information and helps provide good thought/paragraph transition, which in turn provides a good read.
Your paper should be in APA format including double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins on all sides. Include at least three credible resources and list them on the reference page in APA format. Also, use in-text citations.
