Explain how companies are held accountable (cancel culture, regulations/fines, etc.)?
What is the most compelling reason for businesses to be sustainable and accountable? In what other areas are companies held accountable by cancel culture aside from sustainability? As always, be sure to mention the interplay of government, business, and public policy.
Your paper should have a clear beginning/intro/thesis, a body that develops your opinion and references the weekly readings, and a conclusion that summarizes the points made. Your paper must also include an APA formatted reference page at the end.
Possible paper outline (possible, not required):
Intro paragraph – explain the different ways that companies are held accountable (this is a good place to show the connection between business/government/public policy creation). End your paragraph with a thesis that touches on the most compelling reason for businesses to be accountable to their promises (sustainability and otherwise).
Body paragraph – look at one of the ways companies are held accountable (this could be a good paragraph to reference the text) NOT CANCEL CULTURE
Body paragraph – look at how cancel culture holds companies accountable for sustainability
Body paragraph – look at how cancel culture holds companies accountable in other areas (BLM, #metoo, etc)
Conclusion – brief summary and then take it one step further (why does this matter? How is this relevant? etc.)
