Prompt 1 – Using what you have learned from Chapter 7, trace the passage of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. who were the policy entrepreneurs? How was the agenda set? What obstacles are still ahead for the bill? This will involve doing some external research, if you need help please email Kurt.
Prompt 2 – Discuss the different legislative powers of the president. Provide examples from either the current administration or past administrations. In your opinion, what is the most impactful legislative power the president has?
For this essay you can use the textbook, your notes, and outside sources. Plagiarism, fabrication, and cheating (including colluding with classmates) will not be permitted. Please write your answers using the five paragraph method (you can use more if needed), but do not be overly worried about the length as I am grading you on your ability to communicate the concepts from the course.
