We will discuss components of the group session in class before this is due. Then, you will complete the following assignment.
Paper
Upon review of the group session you will be responsible for answering the following questions, while making connections with the readings and lecture. You will be required to utilize at least three (3) citations from your required readings (any readings assigned during the course may be used-not just the group therapy readings).
Paper length 2-3 pages – Due at the start of week 6, Tuesday, August 24th at 6pm EST.
How did the group leader display the skills and tasks of the beginning phase of group development? Please list the skills and tasks the leaders utilized?
Were group guidelines discussed and how were they received by the group? What were the specific guidelines mentioned, if any?
