Backdrop of information. This information was ALREADY

Operant
conditioning allowed new methods for understanding learning processes, and this
theory is the foundation of neurofeedback. What was new to
Skinner’s theory of learning was the
reinforcement schedules and how
these varying reinforcement schedules effected the response rates and the extinction rates of behavior (Iverson, 1992).
