Citations: You should use the Chicago Manual of Style as the guideline for citing sources. This means that only footnotes or endnotes are acceptable.
If you choose to use MLA or APA in-text citations you will not receive full credit for the assignment.
A bibliography, not a Work Cited page should be included at the end of the paper.

As per the video lecture at the beginning of this module, you must use five (5) academic sources (books, journal articles). These sources must be approved by me to ensure you have quality sources to work with.
-The textbook does not count as one of your quality, academic sources.
Internet sources are allowed but must not replace the traditional sources and must be a valid research tool (signed articles with source citation). Wikipedia is not a legitimate research website and will not be accepted as a source. Entertainment sites such as History.com, Biography.com, etc… should not be used either.
To find sources you can use the Galveston College databases (links provided in the Research Assignment section of Canvas) or Google Scholar. No general Google searches and no junk sites will be allowed. When in doubt, contact me. I can check your sources at any time to ensure that you are using quality, academic source materials.
