You are a commercial developer and you were asked to develop a golf course on what is presently a forested land next to a reservoir used for city water. Describe the impacts this development might have on water quality in the reservoir. (HINT: think of pollution from clearing the land as well as growing grass for the golf course)
Imagine you are the governor of an arid (does not have enough water to support growth of plants) southwestern state in the US where water is scare and already being overdrawn. What policies will you advocate for your residents and those looking to move into your state. (Hint: Which policies can be enacted for individual families to conserve water?)
