What policies do you observe, and what are their effects on the experiences of teachers and students?

As you engage in your field experience, I encourage you to focus your attention in
particular on the following questions:
● What are the roles of teachers and students in the educational context you
observe?
● What policies do you observe, and what are their effects on the experiences of
teachers and students?
● What purposes and goals drive the educational experiences you observe?
● What can you learn about the varied lives of the students you observe? What
assets, interests, and abilities do they bring?
● How do the politics and history of school and schooling shape student and teacher
experiences?
● What are some of the social and cultural influences on school systems and on the
lives of teachers and students?
You will have to do 15 hours worth of field experience to answer these questions. I have provided the examples of stuff you can do in the files section and it is required that you take notes in order but the file will give you further instructions on what to look for.
